Govenor Chet Culver has informed legislatures in Des Moines this week that he wants Iowa's ban on cloning to be overturned so that researchers in Iowa now could clone embryos in order to destry them for research.
In 1940 the federal government passed a law protecting bald eagles but also their eggs. The punishment would be the same if you shot the bird in the air as if you destroyed it's eggs. Now if our country has protection of some animals at all stages of their life then shouldn't the same go for humans??
